Last week Jimmie (Johnson) and his team went to Kentucky to test on Monday. Our team was scheduled to be there on Tuesday ... Jimmie got a full day in, and it rained on Tuesday and we didn't get any testing in.

Trying to figure out how to beat Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson to win a championship, that's a lot of pressure ... I like pressure. Pressure is good.
I've always worried about Jimmie Johnson. You never know what he can come up with during a race.
It's amazing to have the fan base that I have here ... It means the world to me to be here in my home state and have the (Jimmie Johnson) Foundation on the side of the car. It was just an awesome race. I never saw one like that when I had the dominant car all night long. I have to give credit to the work that's been going into this race team. We're trying to get ourselves where we need to be. The guys are working hard. It's been paying off.
To win this Chase, you're going to have to fight for wins every week, and every pit stop is going to count, because you're going to have at least (Kyle Busch) and (Carl Edwards) to have to deal with, and I would expect a few others to have their stuff in order
We raced well out there and that's all you can ask for. We improved so much from start to finish
I guess it's saying something when you leave here and you're disappointed with a top-10. I felt like we were a top-five car ... We didn't luck into anything. We just fought hard all night and ended up with a pretty good finish. I enjoyed it -- it was a lot of fun. On nights like tonight it doesn't seem all that hard when the cars drive like they do. I'm proud of my guys, they did a good job.
