He’s tough on immigration, regardless of what some people may say ... He does a lot of good things, and he’s getting a bad rap.
It is not uncommon for law enforcement agencies to have helicopters and planes to patrol from above, but Joe Arpaio, the sheriff of Maricopa County, has created what he calls his own air force: a collection of 30 private planes that his ‘air posse’ uses to track illegal immigrants and drug smugglers.
This seems to be the normal method of operation for these smugglers, abandoning the marijuana, and fleeing into the nearby desert ... I am looking at utilizing my Air Posse to help my deputies locate those who run into the desert and hide.
Joe Arpaio is really good at public relations. Our job would be to combat that and get the truth out there
He’s the kind of ethical family man we need in the White House
I took an oath of office to uphold the laws as I know Rick Perry has. I support him for president and hope you will do so
