View Photo »For the people who want to beat Harry Reid, if you have a second Senate race in this state, that takes the attention off of Senator Reid
I just think that news organizations that have played this down have left themselves open to charges after the John Ensign story and after the Mark Sanford story that they’re a little bit less enthusiastic about Democratic scandals.
Here's exactly what happened when I was a veterinarian, when I was in the House of Representatives, and in the Senate, current employees, former employees, I've recommended countless numbers over the years, gotten them jobs, the same thing that I did with Doug Hampton. Recommended him, didn't say, 'Hey,...
Let's fact-check Anita Dunn, because last Sunday she said that Fox ignores Republican scandals, and she specifically mentioned the scandal involving Nevada senator John Ensign ... A number of Fox News shows have run stories about Senator Ensign. Anita Dunn's facts were just plain wrong.

Most of what the United States government does is unconstitutional
These are costs that the state of Nevada simply cannot afford at this time
I believe this will hurt many business-friendly states like my home state of Nevada
Oh, I never met with Doug Hampton about any of that stuff
I am confident we fully complied with the relevant laws and rules governing current and past employees. I have worked on these Nevada issues with these Nevada companies for years, long before Doug Hampton left my office.
We are now facing a situation where there is almost a shadow Cabinet that is being developed. It is thwarting the position of the United States Congress and these czars are in different positions.
