It was a dream of mine since I was probably 3 years old to be here in the National Hockey League, and at times you pinch yourself and think this is pretty awesome and a lot of fun
It's spread out all over. … John Tavares doesn't have to carry the League ... Maybe 10 years ago, but he doesn't have to do that anymore. (Young stars) are allowed to be players rather than just be ambassadors.
We were in their face for most of the game ... We played true Islander hockey. The result was disappointing, but we’re playing the Stanley Cup champs and there was a lot of positives to take from it.
