If opposing pitchers are going to walk Jose Bautista more often this season, "E5" should be in good position to cash in those RBI opportunities. When he was in the lineup regularly last season, he put up an OPS of over .900 in July and August. That...
Shortstop can also make a pretty good case for futility, too. There are decent options in the first few rounds at the hot corner, but the problem is that once the top-tier guys fall off the board, things are turning ugly quickly. Miguel Cabrera, Jose...

“Lackey took me under his wing when I was called up. He’s not a bad guy. I hated to see him struggle last year.” Now, Mathis and Lackey will see each other on a regular basis. New Blue Jays catcher Jeff Mathis thought he had a deal with slugger Jose...
Pujols led the loop in double plays grounded into, but that's not exactly a positive. Matt Kemp was decidedly a better player than Pujols in 2011, as was Ryan Braun, and Justin Upton at least had a case. In the American League, Jose Bautista, Jacoby...
Yeah it's no fun to have to have ads but something is needed to keep the lights on. Anyway, we are to write about fantasy players to watch, which, since I'm such a fantasy baseball fan, is less fun than it might be, but let's give it a shot. I'll just...

I have Jose Bautista taking this one easily.
I was curious to see how people would treat the major league player in public. It seemed everyone respected his privacy. Some would send over drinks, and the chef wanted a picture, but for the most part everyone left him alone. During dinner Bautista...

It’s not called the most valuable position player award

It doesn't make a difference to me if Verlander of Ellsbury wins
I play the game to win on a daily basis and hopefully accumulate enough Ws at the end of the year to get into the playoffs and win the World Series ...
