Justin Brooks Verlander (born February 20, 1983, in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers. As a position player, I'm biased that I think position players should be at the forefront of that award (the MVP). But if you honestly look at what he accomplished and how much he meant to that team and how dominant he truly was, you cannot make any argument against him winning that award.
