A Dangerous Method is meant to be a well-balanced triptych, and with an excellent performance by [Viggo] Mortensen as Freud and a very good performance by [Michael] Fassbender as Jung, but a wildly reaching and wildly ineffective performance by Keira Knightley, it almost gets there.
I think everything about the story appealed to me ... I knew nothing about it. I knew nothing about psychoanalysis. I'd obviously heard of Freud and Jung, but I'd never read any of their work and I didn't really know anything about them.
