Roy Halladay was born May 14th, 1977 in Denver, Colorado. He was drafted in the 1st round of the 1995 amateur draft by the Jays out of Arvada West High School where he played both baseball and basketball. He was the 17th pick overall. Full Article at Bluebird Banter
