We have double cause to be proud this year: Not only have we used our expertise to help the World Economic Forum assess the nominees for the third year in a row, but this year, one of our own talented young leaders has also made the list.
I remember talking to Kevin Kelly, co-founder of Wired magazine, back in 1995 about the future of the Web. He told me he viewed the Internet as a "planetary-sized copying machine" and added that "trying to stop copying on the Net is impossible." As an... Full Article at TeleRead: Bring the E-Books Home

He's very determined and competitive and has a great demeanor about himself ... I could have seen him as a college player and the Academies have shown some interest over the years in some players but I never thought about it for Mike until he mentioned it. He is a winner though and that will help him be...

It's hard to believe a year has passed since the Cougar Flight 491 accident
A closed coffin is no way to say goodbye to a loved one
We haven’t done it in a while and after spring break, we will practice two times a week ... It is like another wrestling season. Freestyle helps you on your feet and that is where we need to get a lot better. That is where most of your matches are won with your good kids. I think it will help us quite a...
We are losing a couple of seniors and we will only lose a couple next year ... We will be pretty young again. Justin and Payton will be seniors and they will be our leaders coming in. I’m pretty excited about the next few years. We have a good junior high wrestling team and the freshmen that we had this...
I think we made strides as a team ... Other than Dual State, we wrestled pretty good in the last four duals. We looked pretty good as a team.
In a nutshell, it was pretty challenging ... I knew we were going to be young and we were rebuilding a little bit. Having to battle with guys getting sick in and out of the lineup, it was pretty challenging.
It felt good ... It comes from the officials and they recognize the hard work that we are putting in. It would have been nicer if we would have had someone in the finals but that will come.
I thought we wrestled as well as we could ... Carnahan lost to the state champion in the first round and lost in the consolation semis to a returning state placer. Justin took the loss in the semifinals pretty tough but it’s tough on everybody when you work toward a state championship and get that close...
Nothing ever rattles Christian ... He has a tough draw in his first match against the defending state champion and the match after that is winnable. If he will cut loose and turn it on, he has a good chance of placing.
You look at it and you see we only had two qualifiers ... We had seven place in the top six and one thing that we have noticed in the past is that they move up the next year. Both of the guys that we have going to state this year have a chance to place.
Maybe they should just test suspected students
Today we had ten kids in the consolation round semi-final, but we lost five out of six in close matches that could have gone either way ... If we win those matches, we could have more going to state. We’ve been saying it all year, we’re a real young team. We have got everybody back except one kid next y...
I just told him to stay on top, don’t let you hips fall and don’t give up any bad points
It’s the best I’ve seen him wrestle ... All year he’s wrestled at 125, 130 and 135 for us. Everywhere we need him. He’s at every practice. He does everything you ask him to do and he ended placing at the end.
There was a really strange disconnect
We’ve only got a couple (Hughes and Carnahan) that can still move on
We had good rounds this morning and then in the consolation semifinals, we had an awful round ... We lost a lot of real close matches and it just wasn’t good. Our kids made some mistakes at the wrong time.
We had 10 that were still alive and looking at possibly to take all 10 ... Realistically it was very unlikely that we would win all 10 of those matches.
We’ve got a lot of good, solid kids ... This time of year, a bunch of those kids have wrestled each other and there were a lot of close matches that could’ve gone either way. Now, it just depends on who wrestles the best this weekend.
We’ve got our hands full ... Justin got the No. 1 seed and he should take care of business and win it. Two of our seeds are No. 5 seeds, so they will have to beat somebody ahead of them to go (to state).
