Preparation has been very good. It's been a long week, everyone has worked hard and we have covered a lot. This will be a big game for both teams, and we have the utmost respect for Leeds Carnegie. We need to back up Guinness Premiership wins, and also achieve our first away victory of the season.
We respect Leeds, a lot more than many other sides have done this season. Every game I watched them play looks to me as if Saracens and Wasps didn’t give them the respect that they deserved. But we certainly will be.
We are expecting a very tough game. Paul Turner has done a great job with the Dragons and they had an excellent result at the weekend when they won at Edinburgh. They also ran Gloucester very close in the Heineken Cup in October. This is a competition we are looking to do well in and I have named a team...
The fact that it’s Cardiff does give it an extra edge... Because of that for all the 50/50 calls selection-wise this week, the Welsh guys have got the nod because the game will mean that much more to them
I believe that the strategy has given us the best possible chance to go out and beat Cardiff
