View Photo »You know Ben. Ben is a big time player, a big time shot-maker ... He reminds me a lot of Joe Dumars actually. Bynum, he's just a firecracker.
In America, you wanna meet basketballers like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Footballers Peyton Manning and Tom Brady
It's tough to argue with anything that pertains to Michael Jordan. It's tough to argue that ... I wouldn't be against it.
Playing without him is like the Chicago Bulls playing without Michael Jordan. I imagine they lose something... or the Los Angeles Lakers playing without Kobe Bryant.
It's a great test ... Phoenix is hot as a pistol. Denver has struggled in its last couple games, but they're going to be very eager to go up against us, especially after that little melee we had in San Diego.
I don't think people look at him like a Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant or those guys — but I do ... I see him like that. He's on all those guys' level. He's one of the most complete players. For his size, his skill set is incredible. Incredible. He's one of my favorite players in basketball. I love Joe Johnso...

I'm a hundred miles far/ I'm feeling like Chris Childs/ You're looking like Kobe Bryant's jaw.

Luke Walton was diagnosed Monday with a pinched nerve in his back and is expected to miss a minimum of six weeks. The revelation marred the Lakers’ day of good news for All-Stars Kobe Bryant (groin) and Pau Gasol (hamstring). Walton was examined Monday by back specialist Robert Watkins, and the news con...
We picked up our intensity tonight ... It started with #37 (Ron Artest). He picked up the energy level defensively and I told him, the game was on him. I felt like the energy really changed the complexity of the game and we all kind of rallied behind him.
They are two athletes in their prime. How rarely does that ever happen, that two athletes in their prime compete against each other? It'd be like if Michael Jordan played against Kobe Bryant and they were both in their prime still. That never happened.
It's fascinating to me ... All the years of being here in Los Angeles with the fans and everything, and some think, 'Aw, he's getting older and the clock's ticking and blah-blah-blah-blah.' I've been playing for all these years, and you guys still don't know what I'm about.
I just think what Michael Jordan has done for the game has to be recognized some way soon. There would be no LeBron James, no Kobe Bryant, no Dwyane Wade if there wasn't Michael Jordan first.
He looks like he has a world of talent ... He is very athletic, he handles the basketball well and he has tremendous upside. He seems very polished, with good poise and good tempo. I think all he has to do is get used to the NBA game and get a feel for what it is he wants to do out there.
I just think what Michael Jordan has done for the game has to be recognized in some way -- soon ... There would be no LeBron James, no Kobe Bryant, no Dwyane Wade, you name all the best players in the league right now and the last 10 years, there would be none of us without Michael Jordan.
Everybody needs to take pride in knowing it’s a team effort ... It can’t just be one guy and you need to guard your man. No, that one guy is going against us so we need to take it as a team approach. We can’t assume one guy is going to stop one person. When a guy is guarding Kobe Bryant or Kevin Garnett...
But there’s no doubt that our [Hispanic and Latino] players like Al are a great emotional tie with the game for the fans. They are fans of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, too. They have an emotional connection with all of our players.
I just had to make a play. I was thinking of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James
Each time he backed down Houston’s Shane Battier in the post and then deftly spun around him for a layup Wednesday night, Kobe Bryant jogged up court staring into the same pocket of fans seated courtside across from the scorer’s table. The man who met his gaze knew exactly the message Bryant was trying ...
Not a star, but like, a superstar. Something around, like, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, something like that.
Some guys like Dr. J, Kobe Bryant, Amare Stoudemire, Jordan, you know ... I may come back and practice a couple of those.
You'll see it a lot ... A lot of it depends on the defensive end. If we're playing Kobe Bryant at the 2, you might not be able to put Randy on Kobe because of Kobe's size. A lot of that is going to depend on defensive matchups. There was a situation in Dallas where they played a couple smaller guards.
I think that I'm trying to be a Kobe Bryant-type player even though I'm 28 ... But you know, I'm working on everything to help my team get better, and I think that's what the Magic needs ... I think we all came in September working on our game together and working on our chemistry. It's going to be pret...
Big free-agent contracts are much harder to live up to for role players who move to new cities and are expected to be stars. That's not the case with Odom, especially with Ron Artest coming in to join Kobe Bryant & Co. They might have the best defensive team in the NBA
