I would say his selection was unique. The credit should go to Ruwan Kalpage (the former Test spinner and a coach at SLC). It was Ruwan who alerted me that there was this guy, who was special. We took a look at him and then he bowled to the Sri Lankan players at the net. Kumar Sangakkara missed the first ball and he was bowled off the second 
He is exceptional. He can play purely as a batsman or as a wicket-keeper. He doesn’t jump at the ball while keeping and collects cleanly, moves well. He may not be in the same class as Syed Kirmani but he is good. He is not small built like the usual keepers, he is big, not because of weight but because of a bigger bone structure. Now he and Kumar Sangakkara are the best we have
I don't think Yuvi has been out of form. I would say he has not had the opportunities because Marsh and (Kumar) Sangakkara are in good form. It is really difficult to assess form in such situations
What's Gilly [Gilchrist] doing, or [Kumar] Sangakkara or [Mark] Boucher? I try to move my game forward by taking strides to achieve what they are achieving.
We want to consider both [Kumar] Sangakkara and Jayawardene for selection because of their experience against Murali
I hope he will be training again in six weeks but with the Champions Trophy now postponed there is no hurry. No surgery is needed on him.
I was disappointed the way we played ... We had our opportunities. Our one-day cricket hasn't been consistent.
We do have some cricket in the near future so it's important that we finish on a high note ... We played some really good cricket throughout the Test series and one-dayers and it will be disappointing if you just give up in the next game.
