I think Dubai and the golf course and The European Tour have come out of it looking fantastic. I think it’s a great advert for golf on the European Tour.
I went to Clarkey (Darren Clarke) Westy (Lee Westwood), Chubby (his manager Andrew Chandler), Ernie (Els) and said: 'Look, I'm thinking about it , what do you think?' They said: 'There's no rush. Why don't you try and win a bit more over here (on the European Tour) before going over there?'
I am not going to kid you, winning the Order of Merit (the Race to Dubai) would mean a lot
With only two counting events to go on the 2009 Race to Dubai, Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy look to have the title between them, Westwood some 50k in front of the Holywood star. With both playing in Hong Kong this week, and Martin Kaymer in 3rd place taking the week off back home in Germany resting his...

I'm obviously looking forward to making my first appearance in the UBS Hong Kong Open. I have watched it on TV over the years and it's very tight and tree-lined
He’s coached a lot of great players [among them Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson] and says things that you can take real positives from ... If he says something is good, it must be.
Unless he has ambitions to play in the FedEx Cup [the end-of-season play-offs in the US], I don’t see why he should play full time in the States ... It’s not like his profile is not massive over there, so he doesn’t need to boost that.
Lee Westwood was up there, Darren Clarke, Rory, Luke Donald, who is a good friend of mine, and if I had not won it, I would have wanted him or Rory to win it
I understand Fanling is a tight, old-style course that places a lot of emphasis on accuracy so hopefully it will suit my game and I can put on a good show for the fans ... Asia has been kind to me in the past and it would be wonderful if I could post another victory in the region.
