It was a night of some terrible giveaways by a lot of defensemen
With his forecheck pressure and the way Pat can skate, he can turn himself into a weapon if he worries about the puck more than the hits
It's all about getting to the inside more ... Scoring a goal [on a deflection] like Pat Kaleta got on the Island. Getting rebound opportunities. We have to be able to create more. There were pockets of really good inside play [Saturday] night but there haven't been enough of them.
They've been a great team at home
When you don't execute exits out of your zone, you have a hard time generating much at the other end ... On the bright side, I did think Jhonas was terrific.
That could have been our savior, but it wasn't to be
This was another tough night for us
You know it's deserved, he's played very well. You can imagine, you got another man that's 6-foot-8, that can skate almost as well as Tyler Myers ... If he can continue to progress and stay hungry, you don't find those type of players.

With that injury, it’s always something that’s going to bother you when you come back
With a groin you can get real close
When you have the number of injuries we have, it's a big boost to get some key personnel back ... To get your goalie back, we know what he means to our team and what he's meant to this franchise. It's a boost for us.
I wouldn't rule the weekend out
I watched him and I thought he looked good
Those are ones you got to put away
I thought we didn’t quite show enough composure
He's hurting ... I don't know if he'll miss time or not.
He was looking forward to getting out there and taking some shots
We believe we know what Zack can bring us
It's the longest (injury) list I've seen since I've been here
I thought everyone participated on the offense tonight
I feel fortunate to have my job as long as I’ve had ... When you see two fellow coaches lose their job, you don’t feel good about it. It sums up how tight this league is and the pressure to win. It’s tough. Both teams have struggled. When you look at it, sometimes that’s the route they go.
I think that’s realistic ... In his situation, it’s really how he feels. If he’d like to practice, I’ll get a practice plan together so that he can face some shots.
Nobody says it’s easy going from one team to another. It takes time and you’re going to make mistakes ... You could make those same mistakes with the team you’re just with and not get noticed as much because you’re not the new guy on the block. In Christian’s case, I really like the way he’s skated in t...
