Time heals a broken heart, I guess ... We had an outstanding year in Chicago, won the most games in the National League, but the postseason went quietly in three games, which was very disappointing.
It means we did a pretty good job, and got things moving in the right direction. It caps off a season that was remarkable in so many ways.
My good fortune can get spread around a little bit ... The kids in the Chicago area will benefit from this and I'm very happy.
