Lake View Cemetery is considered an outdoor museum and arboretum. And two very key buildings that people come to visit at Lake View Cemetery are the James A. Garfield Monument and our Wade Memorial Chapel, which was built in memory of Jeptha Wade, who was one of the founders of the Western Union Telegraph Company ... What's interesting with Wade Chapel is the interior was designed totally by the Louis Comfort Tiffany studios. The Garfield Monument was dedicated on Memorial Day 1890 and stands on one of the highest platforms in the city of Cleveland. The president's casket is actually on full display in the lower rotunda.
