View Photo »It's a really special night for a lot of Texas fans and our senior class. That's what you want senior day to be. You only get one of those ... When you can finish it in a fashion like they did tonight, have a great ovation as you leave, have 101,000 fans celebrate their game and their careers as they're...

You sit around listening to everybody talking about Pasadena and you don't play well ... then stupid for you. That's what happened to us last year.
The ’05 seniors and the ’08 seniors have 45 wins, so (with 42 victories the ’09 seniors) still have some work to do to be the winningest class in the history of Texas football
You look at Jordan Shipley: Nobody has overcome more than Jordan Shipley to get what he’s gotten today
That year, until the championship game, we had the one close game with Ohio State, otherwise we won handily ... That team has been a standard for this team.
Some people have said we really didn't want him as much as we wanted Ryan. That's not true ... We thought he was really good. The recruiting lists missed it. Not Texas. Not Colt.
Todd Reesing is a great story ... He did a tremendous job at Lake Travis. We were all able to watch him for many years and admire what he's done. He's been for Kansas what Colt's been for us. He's accurate, he's got a quick release, they have some great receivers, and they can move the ball.
There’s a lot of things on the line for us ... You never know, but in viewing them yesterday in the team meeting, I think they’re really excited about the challenge of Kansas coming in here and our seniors playing their last game at home.
Jordan came and begged his way to come in and get his hands on the ball more ... Some people wonder why you would put a guy like Jordan back there, but he can score every time he touches it.

Their goal again is to win the Big 12
For some reason, this hasn't come up in the past for the NCAA ... I thought it would have, but it's a unique one.
We want to win the Big 12 South and the Big 12 ... Our dream would be to win a national championship. We've got to keep our eyes and our minds on our goals.
He's the master, he's a wizard at what he does ... I was happy for college football and Kansas State when he came back. I wasn't happy for the rest of us because I knew he was going to get it fixed fast.
I think before he leaves Ohio State, he will lead them to a national championship
It was about this time in his career that Vince Young turned the corner and didn't lose another game ... I see Terrelle Pryor doing the same thing. Before he leaves Ohio State, he'll lead them to a national championship. He's that type of player.
This week's goal is a national goal ... It's a huge game for us if we want to stay in the mix on the national scene. I think we'll play hard Saturday. I haven't always thought that (about past Texas teams). I think that about this year's team.
The only thing that is important to us now is Central Florida ... Since it's not a conference game, it's a national game that can impact our national rankings.
The message is we want to play with a swagger. We want to play with confidence, is all it is ... We talked about it last week at Missouri. We don't want to walk in places on the road and feel like we may get beat. We want to walk in there and send a message that we are good. We want to play good and we ...
A lot of people questioned whether (the Longhorns) could come up here and play better than they have in the past ... I do think the reason they played better is that we have great respect now for Oklahoma State.
