I think that beard is evidence that Jon Hamm has been using. It’s too much! It goes over his nose! It’s like a Fred Flinstone beard. Anyone else on the cast who has a really impressive beard? Christina Hendricks, I think, has a really nice beard. She doesn’t show... Full Article at OH NO THEY DIDN'T

I did! He said something lame, like "He’s got a handsome beard," or some bullshit. He owes me money. That’s why he said that. Why did everyone grow a beard during the off-season? I don’t know! It was a coincidence. A mass coincidence. Jon Hamm doesn’t have one now... Full Article at New York Magazine

Mad Men may be lauded for scratching at the dark underbelly of society in the 1960s, but its scratches are surface deep. Perhaps because if it dug any deeper, the audience would see their own reflections staring back at them.
Women can't open jars or change flat tires. Men don't use maps. Just so you know, I can change a flat tire, and I can even open my own jars. (I use one of those rubber thingies to give my hand traction.) So there. Dodge, your misogyny was so blatant and so scary... Full Article at MomLogic
Among those commercials consistently deemed most effective, memorable and talked-about, many were created or suggested by consumers or produced internally by the sponsors rather than the work of agency professionals. That should give the modern-day “Mad Men”... Full Article at The New York Times

I think that show, 'Mad Men,' is a microcosm of the changing world
It is difficult come award season and I need to find a gown to walk down the red carpet in, and there are only size zeros and size twos available. Then it becomes downright annoying. Because all these designers are saying, ‘We love Mad Men, we love Christina, but we won’t make her a dress.’
And uh, believe it or not that's how I got 'Mad Men,'
I always shave my beard as soon as a season of Mad Men ends, and then I'm so appalled at my baby face that I immediately grow it back. I can't stand the sight of my bare skin anymore. It probably takes a month to five weeks to grow. Much slower than Jon Hamm.
I hate Mad Men because it reminds me of some of the things I see in the agency world. It's not a big stretch of the imagination.
I thought this chair was so good looking; it looked like it belonged on the 'Mad Men' set. But it is just too hard-edged for our customers in Chicago. Here, it is all about comfort, nesting and curling up. It comes in black leather too, and neither one sold well.
When viewing an episode of TV's Mad Men, for example, consumers could tap on objects, such as Don Draper's hat, to get more information about the items and where to buy them.
I'd planned it as a sort of mocu-drama / 'Mad Men' type of show, set in the 1980s. It was also originally going to be people, not dogs. It was going to be very moody and hip, and I'm certain it would have totally bombed.
The 'Mad Men' aesthetic was the beginning of looking back and harnessing what is great about being a man. People are reaching out for things that have stood for the test of time
Mad Men is such a well-styled programme, all very sharp and tailored, and when see what the characters are wearing and think ‘hey, I could be Mr Cool like that.’ What they want is the whole image and the tailoring is a big part of that.
Whether you’re telling a story in the realm of a combat-level spacecraft where everyone is battle-weary and hoping to survive, or in an environment like Caprica, where we’re in a much more terrestrial world that’s much more expansive, the focus is still on character ... Character is where we start our s...
s. Jon Hamm took the mic when Mad Men scored for Ensemble in a Drama Series, but he spoke on behalf of his facial hair. It's an honor just to be in this room with all of you insanely talented people ... I'd like to thank the male members of our cast for getting the note about growing a beard, except Jar...
Luck of the draw. This was a very pivotal time in our culture, post-war. There were a lot of shifts in conventional wisdom, demographics… one of many reasons why we have the dramatic force of ‘Mad Men,’
Acting is like a tennis match — you're only as good as the person you're playing ... There are only two shows I watch: 'Mad Men' and 'Damages.' I'm just a huge fan of the writing, the style and, obviously, the acting caliber.
sometime soon—between now and Mad Men.
I’ve never seen it, but this show should win more awards. She’s the most talented actress working. ‘Mad Men’ now has a new fan.
We are crossing our fingers. In addition to the aforementioned, the guest list includes Justin Timberlake, Penelope Cruz, Glenn Close, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Matt Damon, Meryl Streep, Hugh Laurie, Mo'Nique and Christina Applegate to name a few. Mad Men
a collective craving for aesthetics. We've come to sacrifice personal style for comfort. But if you tune in to ‘Mad Men,’ you see these American women looking so chic, and you think, ‘I need a pair of red pumps and a swing coat.’
It's The Dark Knight meets Mad Men. Clare is a Russian princess exiled to New York. When enemies from the past threaten her new life, the repressed warrior queen fights back. The media catches wind of her nocturnal crusade and christen her Moon Girl.

Mad Men is exceptionally sexy
I didn’t want Mad Men just to be about glamour, but ugliness, too
Normally it was like, ‘Oh no, we have to fix it, hide it, you look too busty, is there another way you can wear that top?’ But on Mad Men, it was like, ‘You look great in that dress.’
