View Photo »I am not worried too much about the bowling, you can say... that doesn't mean I am worried about the batting side. I am quite happy with the bowlers. Mishra (Amit Mishra) is again one of the bowlers, who had not got a chance for a long time in the one day, is now in the team... and Ojha (Pragyan Ojha) i...
First Yuvraj Singh, breaking all the security barriers, stepped out of Taj Hotel at around 7.30 p.m. He went away in a friend's car. Not only this, after sometime, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh also went out of the hotel without informing anybody
The conditions helped the bowlers, but they bowled exceptionally well to exploit them ... For us, it was disappointing to lose three closely contested matches in the series. But the credit goes to Australia for taking the games away from us.
Obviously Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ] is there. Mahendra Singh Dhoni [ Images ] and some of the new players are also in good form. So, we hope that the India not only wins the second match but the whole series
I think 27 for five was a bit too much. If we lost maybe one or two wickets, it would still be decent because you had the chance of getting back. We had a seventh batsman and we have also seen Harbhajan Singh and Praveen Kumar contributing to a certain extent
Individual players have scored but as a team we have not done well as because of that we lost some matches which should have been won, specially in Mohali and Hyderabad
I have no complaints with the way Harbhajan Singh has been bowling in the last couple of games. Ishant Sharma had a couple of bad days but should come back strongly anytime
All the bowlers did well. Ashish Nehra is at his usual impressive form, Ishant Sharma is continuing with his good show and good thing is Praveen Kumar has come up good as well ... Ravindra Jadeja came in late but got three crucial wickets in the last game.

We are not much bothered about their (Australia's) injuries as we are more focussed on the job at hand. The last match is over and we have to start from the scratch
It was a tough choice. The 148 against Pakistan and the 180 against Sri Lanka were very satisfying innings. So it is tough to choose but I am happy that I have scored a century after a long time.
Yuvraj and Bhajji (Harbhajan Singh) did a good job. Bhajji was expensive in his first two overs but he came back bowling really well in his later eight overs
It's a difficult choice to make. We have Viru (Virender Sehwag) and Sachin (Tendulkar) opening the innings, Gauti (Gautam Gambhir) at no. 3 and Yuvraj at no 4. The next slot available is no. 5
You don't always get four or five wickets or as a batsman you don't always score by 100 or 50's, it is a part and parcel of Cricket. I thought he (Ishant Sharma) bowled very well and he was bowling in the right direction
We lost too many wickets during the powerplay which was the turning point. We lost Gautam Gambhir, (Suresh) Raina, myself and Ravindra Jadeja. Full credit to Harbhajan Singh and Praveen Kumar for bringing us so close to the target

We will be going flat out to bring a smile on the faces of our compatriots, and in the process make a successful start to what is going to an eventful season, with series against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South Africa lined up in the months to follow
It's difficult to say which was worse but I feel here, we won one and lost one while a game was rained off. In England it felt worse because we got enough games and our performance was not good enough.
We now have to prepare for the next one-day series against Australia (at home in October)
Well there's a nice break, that's for sure. Next is the Champions League, we will look to get some entertainment out of it and after that will be Australia, so we'll be prepared for it. Hopefully, all the guys will be fit for the series
Surely Indian fans want us to qualify; so I am sure they will definitely support Pakistan against Australia, wherever the venue is. But again, it is entirely left to them [Pakistan] to win the match

I brought part-timers from the two ends, as I have seen when you bring a part-timer with Harbhajan Singh, the batsmen usually see off Bhajji and milk the other bowler
