Is he an England doubt? We will have to wait and see. I don't think he is a doubt. He is just very stiff at the moment and he will need to be checked out to make sure there is nothing significant going on. But he will turn up and hopefully he will be okay.
There has been a lot said and written about Emmanuel's goal celebration. We are just glad to put it all behind us now and I am relieved he will be able to play at Aston Villa on Monday night. Manu was in great form before his suspension and having him available again is a huge boost to us.
Carlos was great – his movement and interchange with Craig Bellamy, Martin Petrov and the midfield guys ... As the season progresses, that will get better. Carlos is an outstanding footballer. He has an awareness, an understanding of where others are and the way in which he can affect the game. With pla...
Roque won't be featuring against Fulham, but the likelihood is that he will play a part in the next game if we can get him involved.
We did not look a threat from set-plays last year but now we do. Fulham are very well organised and got plenty of people behind the ball. It was difficult to break them down and we had to be patient.
I seem to recall Brian Clough clipping someone around the ear, and he was lauded as a national hero
The guy shouldn't have been on the pitch, that's not acceptable ... I remember Brian Clough clipping someone round the earhole because he was being daft. Maybe that is what he's done.
The guy shouldn’t have been on the pitch ... That’s not acceptable. I remember Brian Clough [the former Nottingham Forest manager] clipping someone round the earhole because he was being daft and maybe that’s what Craig’s done.
It is desperately disappointing for us in a game of real significance for us and for Manchester United
The guy should not have been on the pitch, that's not acceptable. I recall Brian Clough clipping someone round the ear for coming on the pitch at Nottingham Forest.
I saw Gary Neville running off like a lunatic ... What I saw reminded me of Sir Alex and Brian Kidd [against Sheffield Wednesday] in 1993. It shows what it meant to them. It shows we can compete.
I seem to recall Brian Clough clipping someone around the ear once [after Nottingham Forest's fans had invaded the pitch] and he was lauded as a national hero ... Maybe it will be the same with Craig but I doubt it. I'm sure people will make a nuisance of it.
We've discussed it on numerous occasions. It does really seem to have upset Alex for some reason ... But we take it as maybe flattery, because maybe in recent years City haven't really affected the thinking of Manchester United to any great extent. Possibly that's changed now.
Emmanuel Adebayor sustained a tremendous amount of personal abuse from the kick-off but strongly maintains that there was no malice intended in the challenge on Robin Van Persie and apologised to him when he hugged him on leaving the field of play at the end of the game
I think Emmanuel is upset. It's certainly something that has affected him quite deeply. He has no problem with Arsenal Football Club itself because he sees it as a huge part of his football life
