That's what you get when you don't sit around
I think the successful opening is due to the combination of a really great marketing campaign that clearly outlined what the film would be, and to the attraction of Mark Wahlberg
I've got good people skills and I'm a good salesman.
Not since Mark Wahlberg trembled in fear beside a menacing houseplant in The Happening has a film tried to provoke terror with such an unlikely object of menace.
What makes Mark such a good producer is while he's very aware of the budget and pays close attention to the numbers, he has a strong vision of what movie he's making and does whatever he needs to do to reach that vision. He doesn't compromise it for anything.
It's great to have an uptick in the total box office, and Universal is thrilled that 'Contraband' was the driving force behind that ... I think its combination of a great marketing campaign, audiences love Mark Wahlberg and (producer) Working Title made a terrific movie, particularly for the cost.
Baltasar would see a craft service table and say, 'Get that out of here, there's no lunch.'
Mark Wahlberg. People like him as a leading man. ... This film is a great success.
It does for awhile, but everyone gets caught eventually. In this movie, my character's no angel
My ideal kinda guy, if I was really gonna go there even though he’s married, is Mark Wahlberg. To me he’s a little Black and White, the kinda guy who would understand if I pull my weave out. He wouldn’t say, ‘What a weave?’ I feel like he would understand my culture, that’s important to me.
I mean listen, first and foremost I really feel and my heart goes out to the victims of anybody who was, you know, hurt or, you know, anybody who lost loved ones in any of that stuff
I love the attitude that Caine carried in all his films. I've lost count of how many times I've seen 'The Italian Job'. Although I have to admit I've seen Caine's version more times than Mark Wahlberg's. It's a cult film
Maybe he’ll give me the exclusive rights to tell his story. ’Cause he knows, you know, we can do it better than anybody else
He wants me to come down and visit him. Maybe he'll give me the exclusive rights to tell his story, 'cause he knows, you know, we can do it better than anybody else
I said if I had to finance myself, I’d do it ... I certainly hope it has a chance to become a feature film, everybody always says the episodes are too short. [Viewers] want to go on a journey. The Hangover to me is like Entourage.

It better happen ... We're working on it as we speak.
