Rob Andrew has said that things are at rock bottom and it's probably true
My job is to run the department ... It's a huge department and it's not just about the playing side. Martin Johnson was appointed to run the team. That's how it works. The structure of the professional game: that's my role.
My reaction to Mike... well, he knew what he'd done and where his actions might possibly lead
It unfortunately created a level of media interest that was an unwanted distraction for myself, my team-mates, Martin Johnson [the England manager, who resigned last week] and his staff. I can again only apologise unreservedly for this.
They were clearly given the options and the number one thing they were told they must do was to get their own independent legal advice because they had to be happy with what they were going to do
I absolutely accept my share of responsibility for what happened in Queenstown and that I drank too much that night. In the middle of a Test week before a big game you need to go and seek legal advice and there was an impact on the players and the team that you have to deal with

Do not take the extreme opinion written in extreme circumstances as fact
It makes me sad to see some of those things aired in the press ... I've been there myself. There are a lot of good people. I've got a lot of time for Martin Johnson, and I'm sure he's finding it very difficult.
Of course it is not great to see those bits. It was one of the worst things I have experienced in the game
Rob was there all the time apart from the first 10 days and we didn't hear a single thing from him through the whole World Cup ... Martin Johnson needed help but got none at all. Andrew did nothing for him whatsoever.
Brian brought a huge amount of commitment and passion to the job
Martin Johnson needed help but got none at all. Andrew did nothing for him whatsoever.
Brian has brought a high level of coaching and a huge amount of commitment and passion to the job. If you look at our record in the last 12 months, and the fact that we have scored 37 tries to 12 conceded, it shows what an impact he has made. I want to thank him for what he has done for the England team...
We didn't really have a good captain. I think Johnno (manager Martin Johnson) liked Moody as he left the team talks to Johnno. He wasn't very good at team talks.
That is a general statement. I know Martin Johnson from 2001. He is a hell of a good guy who was inspirational to the team.
The furore surrounding the treatment of Mike Tindall is surely set to be eclipsed in the near future by a decision on Martin Johnson's future
Martin Johnson has gone but has anything else changed?
