We couldn't even generate a shot tonight. The tank was completely empty. We were on fumes ... We couldn't forecheck. One of the things is Marty Turco handles the puck really well. If you are mentally into the game you'll do your darndest to keep the puck away from him and we just couldn't execute that at all. If you are going to beat Dallas you need your legs and you need to keep the puck away from Marty. 
We competed hard, had excellent goaltending and we played well as a group ... We defended really well tonight and Marty (Turco) was so solid.
They have Marty Turco, they have Brenden Morrow, they have Mike Modano. I'm surprised that it's gotten to this point ... They love the way he plays on the ice, they love the determination that he has and what he does for the team. They've got to find a way to rein him in, and hopefully they will.
We have to find ways to win games and it's so important for guys to do the job they were asked to do and we got that tonight ... Marty [Turco] made some big saves for us tonight, the power play got it done and it was the difference maker. I give our guys a lot of credit and we are going to build on this.
He was out playing the puck a lot tonight, making some pretty good plays, and we were just on the fortunate end of the miscue ... I was on the good end of a nice bounce, and I was fortunate to put it in.
We have no regrets. Marty played a heck of a game ... He made some big saves at critical times. It was disappointing to come out of here without a point. On the bright side we played a heck of a game against a very elite team.
It was a hard-fought game. Our goaltender played very well but in the end we made a mistake that cost us ... There's an old saying that you learn from adversity and we are sure getting our fair share of it, that's for sure.
I shouldn't be going high over the middle ... To make matters worse, I knocked it into the net. I don't know what I was thinking.
The kind of player he is, part of his game is being a strong defender ... Let’s hope [it helps].
