Any time you get a great honor like that, especially following in the footsteps of guys like Jo-Lonn Dunbar and Matt Ryan, you sit back and think ‘Wow, I’ve got a lot of work to do,’ ... But (coach Jeff Jagodzinski) said to me, and I think he was right, that I kind of found my way. At first, I was a little tentative, because I’m a junior and we’ve got a strong group of seniors. I didn’t want to step on their toes. But I found my way. 
It has been very gratifying to have a team like this, not having to count on just one guy ... Matt Ryan was a real special player, but we've come together by having to count on everybody. This is the best team chemistry I think I've ever been around. They count on each other, and I think that's what being a team is all about. It's not just about one guy. Everybody is taking turns making a play.
It became apparent to us after the second preseason game that Matt Ryan was our best quarterback. It would be a bad message and a mixed message to send to our Football team. It was evident, and sometimes the players know it before the coaches do, who the best players are. Matt gave us the best opportunity to succeed.
It's amazing ... So many people are talking about Matt Ryan, talking about Matt Cassel, talking about Joe Flacco, but Rodgers is in that category and ranks ahead of them.
I don't think you use the word surprised ... We had expectations for ourselves, even if others didn't.
I think one of the best things we've done is that we haven't worried about the outside expectations ... We believed in ourselves. We bought into it. The hard work could pay off.
