Over the weekend, the Minnesota Twins picked up their 10.5 million dollar option on RF Michael Cuddyer to keep him through 2010. Cuddyer has been a member of all 5 of the Twins playoff teams from the first decade of the millenium. Full Article at FanGraphs

It was Cy Young against MVP ... That makes for great drama.
Can anybody here pitch? OK, you're the pitcher. Who can play shortstop? Good, Three weeks ago, Gardenhire looked around for someone to play first base. Anybody have a first baseman's mitt? Cuddyer did. So with Justin Morneau out for the season because of a back injury, Cuddyer was hauled in from right f...
It's definitely not ideal ... But they've got to do it, too. It's not like just the Minnesota Twins are having to deal with the weather. It's unfortunate, but you can't control the rain.
To be honest with you, I'm not even looking to that ... We've got four tough games in Detroit before that's even a factor.
