For our team it would be nice to remain as number-one team. What motivating us is to try and win this series against India, that's all we are really focusing on at this moment. I guess that if we do that (winning the series) then the by-product is that we remain the number one team
Michael Hussey scored a hundred in his last Test. He deserves to be in the side and I think he'll play very well
I guess it will be a tight match here again but our motivation now is that we can have the series in our hands tomorrow. We are still recovering from the the thrilling win (in Hyderabad) and hope to take the series here
That's my job and Huss' [Michael Hussey's] job and Michael Clarke's job, as the senior players in the side at the moment, just to keep reinforcing that to those blokes. Hopefully, they'll want to do what some of our older blokes have done
It was good fun. I really enjoyed the partnership with Cameron White in particular. I think we had some good partnerships. Tim Paine and Ricky got us to a good start, so we could afford to relax in the middle period
I don't think it is a weak side; this Australian team is a good side. They have good batsmen at the top, in the middle order they have Ricky Ponting [ Images ] and Michael Hussey [ Images ]. They have got experienced players who can really make a difference at this level. I would not consider them weak ...
The last time we were here (for the Test series) Zaheer Khan was a crucial bowler for the Indians and his absence will be a big loss to their attack
Michael Hussey has played a lot of cricket here, Shane Watson and Tim Paine play spin well. Our record in one-day cricket in the subcontinent is good.
The Pakistanis bowled well, and thankfully Brett Lee and Hauritz showed some steel in the end and got us over the line
Bowling to the likes of Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey is not an easy task. I don't think our bowlers committed any mistakes. We should give credit to opposition batsmen for playing so well
