I think it is wonderful that Philadelphia's mayor, Michael Nutter, is so supportive of higher education and is promoting the importance of obtaining a college degree to Philadelphia secondary school students and their families

The economics that have hit Philadelphia are not unique to this city
Congressman Brady and I and a number of corporate leaders are looking at the prospect of hosting a Philadelphia regatta, or a 'Mayor's Cup' race, with the premier schools locally, regionally, and nationally
I am glad to see companies like AstraZeneca stepping up to support important health needs of Philadelphians. This program will make care at our centers more comprehensive and helps make the city a healthier place to live
What's going on, as the unemployment rate goes up and as fewer people are paying taxes, that's also causing additional stress and strain on the city government
