Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele suggested Democrats should strip Reid of his leadership position if he does not apologize for the comments.
Whether you are a Democrat or Republican, all of us can agree on this: In this uncertain economy, growth and jobs have to be our priorities
Head of the RNC, Michael Steele, stepping up pressure on Senator Harry Reid. He wants Reid to apologize for comparing Republican opponents of health care reform to those who resisted an end to slavery.
Reid has now compared his quest to pass the Obama-Pelosi government takeover of health care to the effort to end slavery.... To suggest that passing this horrible bill is anything akin to ridding our country of slavery is terribly offensive and calls into question Mr. Reid's suitability to lead
An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that the law firm of the sponsor of a resolution before the Republican National Committee concerning party loyalty had its legal consulting with the committee cut off after Michael Steele's election as chairman earlier this year. The RNC paid the Ter...
Having made this disgraceful statement on the floor of the United States Senate, Mr. Reid should immediately apologize on the Senate floor to his colleagues, to his constituents and to the American people. If he is going to stand by these statements, the Democrats must immediately reconsider his fitness...
Trevor Francis, communications director of the Republican National Committee, abruptly resigned Monday, and two Republican strategists familiar with the situation said he was pushed out because Chairman Michael Steele didn't feel he was getting enough credit for the GOP's electoral success earlier this ...

Michael Steele’s problem is that he continues to make this mistake of inflating the conservative movement to be the Republican Party ... And until he gets that out of his head, along with a lot of other Republican leaders, he’s going to keep having this problem. Conservatives and Republicans are not the...
Harry Reid wandered far out of bounds with his absurd and offensive comments ... This is inexcusable, deeply insulting and an arrogant abuse of the Democrat Party's unchecked power in Congress. This is an elected official saying anything, doing anything, running roughshod over any citizen who opposes hi...
This morning, GM announced that they are making progress in turning an iconic and vital American company around — and that they would repay government loans four years early — something even the most cynical of the president’s political opponents could cheer — unless you’re Michael Steele and the Republ...
Today's report that Senator Max Baucus used his Senate office to advance a taxpayer-funded appointment for his staff-member girlfriend raises a whole host of ethical questions
I've been talking with Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele
More than 11,000 Americans lost their jobs in the month of November, meaning more than 2.8 million Americans have lost their jobs since the stimulus passed, and the national unemployment rate remains in double digits ... Michael Steele and Sarah Palin are kind of a joke

If RNC Chairman Michael Steele doesn't have one of these in his den, I'll eat Rush Limbaugh's shorts. The staggering truth: Chia Obama is a real product, and its creator ... means it to be a sincere tribute to Obama, who he says has inherited 'the biggest can of worms ever put on a president.'
This White House ' jobs summit' is just another example of President Obama 's PR presidency, where he stages photo-ops and events to distract citizens and the media from his administration's failures
It's clear the Michael Steele and the Republican party are ready to hand over the keys of the GOP to Michele Bachmann, Glenn Beck and the rest of the extremist tea party crowd.
Earlier this year, President Obama and Arlen Specter passed a $787 billion stimulus package that has created more growth in government instead of creating jobs for Pennsylvanian families
The White House downplayed the national significance of the off-year elections, but Republicans, including GOP Chairman Michael Steele, portrayed them as referendums on Obama's presidency
Trevor took a hiatus from a very successful private sector career to give service to the Republican Party this year. Trevor’s talents will be missed at the RNC. We have accomplished a great deal in the year he was here. He worked tirelessly, as did the whole team, on the victories in Virginia and his ho...
I think if Michael Steele is the best spokesperson they can find, I'll match him up against President Barack Obama any day of the week ... There's no doubt that the momentum is going our way. I find it interesting when you have the Republican governor trying to pretend that he's the agent of change, com...
