We'll have two good plays and then we'll give up a big play. So do I see at times us playing great defense? Yeah, there are times I do see that....
The adversity in the context of a game we don't always handle well ... Whether we would've beaten Oklahoma is irrelevant. To have that type of score is relevant.
We shot ourselves in the foot numerous times ... Things just kind of spiraled on us and we just never ever recovered. We have to give Oklahoma their credit. They took total advantage of the opportunities that we gave them and then the opportunities that they created themselves.
Tonight was about the Oklahoma Sooners ... There's enough of a challenge there to begin with, and we just didn't do things very well. ... We weren't very good today.
Certainly, getting spanked out there in Manhattan was a blow for a young football team ... But they seem to have bounced back. And I think our confidence level is where it should be.
Iowa State has big, powerful kids that come off the ball and hold onto the ball very well
When the plane landed (early Sunday morning), I told the kids on the tarmac, ‘Y'all need to celebrate. Be careful and smart about what you do, but you need to celebrate for the next 24 hours. Because when we get back together Monday, we've got to get ready for Iowa State,' ... We know we have to have ou...
Any win at home or away is a big win for us ... We take the same approach every ball game and we play every game to win. We didn't do that very well last week, obviously. I told our guys we should always expect to win. We are Texas A&M and we have high expectations.
He was such a catalyst for them and was a catalyst for the Miami Dolphins for so many years ... I just can't tell you how much respect I've had for him as a football player. He's undersized. There's nothing special about his physical traits other than the fact he's a great football player and always see...
I remember watching Coach Snyder's teams when I was in Green Bay ... When we would go through draft meetings and whatnot, and throw his teams on, you'd see hard-nosed, tough players. The same is true right now.
We just struggled making plays there ... It wasn't explosive plays necessarily, just the nickel-and-dime stuff. Last week we gave up big plays (in a 47-19 loss to Arkansas).
Going into this game our guys had a great week of practice ... They worked really hard. We fully expected to win. We didn't, and that's really all that matters. Oklahoma State made more plays than we did to win the football game. That's the bottom line.
We're 3-0 and that's great, but we do keep things in perspective ... The speed of the game, as I told them, is going to be greatly enhanced when we line up against Arkansas.
Since we got here, we've made a big effort to be stronger in Metroplex up there and in the Dallas area, and I think we've proven that with our recruiting commitments ... I think it gives our players a chance to go back to that area - we have quite a few players from that area now, and are also recruitin...

I thought he played well, but he made some mistakes and he's going to continue to grow and make mistakes ... This week will be a big challenge to him because the speed of the game will be greatly enhanced with Arkansas.
Our preparation this week was as good as we've had since I've been here ... I think they're very excited about tonight, and they're going to have to work even harder against a very good Arkansas team ... We have a lot of things to get better at before we play those folks.
There is no doubt in my mind what can be accomplished here at Texas A&M ... I know a lot of coaches will say the same thing, but I know the landscape here. I know the recruiting base. I know the high school coaches in this state. I know what needs to be done. I know the talent that is out here. I know w...
We’re very respectful in what they did do in the game [against Utah] ... I know they wish the outcome of it was different.
