We've always had a desire to use both of those men in the return game, as both kick and punt returners
He appears to be moving toward game readiness
It was minor, to my understanding ... We were in the area along the 50-yard line, quarterbacks and receivers working like they normally do. Their secondary came up the visiting boundary to work in their area. There were some words exchanged. It was quickly dispersed. I thought all parties involved did a...
Troy hasn’t had any concussion symptoms since we have been back here
All things are positive in terms of his potential participation this week ... Obviously, we will continue to err on the side of caution. He will have to pass a battery of tests in order to participate. We are comfortable at this juncture that it will happen.
Obviously, we're sensitive to his concussion history ... and we're always going to exercise the necessary precaution when dealing with it.
He's dehydrated and has lost a significant amount of weight
We'll lean on the expert advice of our medical staff
and we're always going to exercise the necessary precaution when dealing with it.
Obviously, we're sensitive to his concussion history
We’ll watch him throughout the course of the week to solidify that
Troy hadn’t had any concussion symptoms since we’ve been back here
I don’t know at this juncture if it was a concussion; I want to be clear
He's moving toward game-readiness
We anticipate it being a non-issue moving forward this week
I don't know at this juncture if it was a concussion, I want to be clear
Beating yourself is going to put you in position to have to make plays at the end, like we did.
We just wanted to err on the side of caution; that's why we didn't let him return to the game
We're excited about winning - and winning on the road - and making the necessary plays ... We produced turnovers tonight, and that was big for us.
We needed help tonight and that's why those guys are here ... You need everybody on the roster to contribute and tonight we had some guys step into roles and make good on their opportunities. Our expectation of them from an execution standpoint is the same. We expected their contributions.
I didn't think it was a factor ... In terms of his execution we didn't have any discussions regarding it. It was a non-issue.
It was a hard-fought game
He's an extremely intense competitor ... and I think adversity such as that brings that out of him. I think it's a characteristic that all good competitors have.
We're analyzing all aspects of what we're doing here ... specifically this week, and are going to be aggressive in terms of looking at potential changes in not only what we do schematically, but who we have do it in all three phases.
