There's a long tradition of really good quick seam bowling from Pakistan. They have some wonderful spin bowlers, and Younus Khan and Mohammad Yousuf made a lot of runs here a few years ago (in the 2006 Headingley Test).

We know New Zealand will be tough in their conditions, and with a world-class bowler in Daniel Vettori they will put a lot of pressure on us so it will be a matter of how to handle pressure
I am sure Mohammad Yousuf will lead the team well in New Zealand as he is a very experienced campaigner
My main target is to unite the team because our religion also teaches us to unite for a cause and the New Zealand tour will be a tough task for us
Mohammad Yousuf has been named captain and Kamran Akmal as his deputy (for the series)
It is a great honour for me to lead Pakistan once again after being away from my team for quite a long spell
It made no sense to me to first drop Shoaib Malik and then Mohammad Yousuf for the last match. I don't understand how this so-called rotation policy is benefiting the team. In fact, it is sending out the wrong messages to other players
It's a new Taliban tactic, we have more Taliban who have infiltrated into the police and army
Shafqat Rana has made an issue that Younis didn't want Muhammad Asif to play the semi-final although the team management felt he should play in place of Rana Naved. But Rana has not revealed the fact that it was Younus who insisted on playing Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf in the match against India a...
The ban came soon after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh concluded his visit to Kashmir which was supposed to help build confidence on the ground ... By doing so New Delhi cannot win our hearts.
Not every player can perform in every match and not all 11 players can perform in all matches. But if we get two or three key performances in each match like Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf delivered against India then there is no reason we can't win the tournament
The ban came soon after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh concluded his visit to Kashmir which was supposed to help build confidence on the ground ... By doing so New Delhi cannot win our hearts.
It was a great performance by our batsmen. We had a good start by Imran Nazir and Kamran Akmal. Myself chipped in and then Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf were fantastic
My main regret during my long career is that we were not able to win a Test series in Australia although I even captained the team there in one Test when Inzamamul Haq was injured
Any team that has match-winners like Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and the great Mohammad Yousuf should be taken seriously. Any team that has bowlers like (off spinner) Saeed Ajmal, has the ability to win major titles
It is all in God's hand. One does not know where one will be the next day so now focus on the next series, which is in New Zealand and Australia. I definitely want to play in the next World Cup but that will only happen if I remain fit and keep scoring runs
We won a good match against India and I think the match we lost yesterday (against Australia) was the best game of the tournament as it was decided on the last ball
