It's good to see every player backing the other. The days of infighting and rifts seem to be over. Mohsin Khan in his capacity as interim coach has done well. It is not easy to handle a side, knowing well that you may not be around for too long
I think both teams have a good pace attack, good spinners, so it will be a test for the batsmen because both the teams have good bowlers
My coach Mohsin Khan has backed me all the way and supported me and Misbah-ul-Haq has led the side very well and given me confidence. I am enjoying doing well for my country
I did the tough job of chairman of selectors when the board asked me to perform that role and now I was required to do the equally tough role of coach and I have performed that to the best of my ability
It may well be that in future after teams and coaches have had more time to analyse the rule changes, we may go back to 300 plus in 50 overs, but at this moment the rule changes are excellent and have made one day cricket a more even contest once again which can only be good for the game of cricket
Well I’m not a selector now. Because this is my request to PCB that if I go as a coach with the team release me from the duties as a selector. So I’m not a selector
I have told the players to concentrate on every match as it comes instead of thinking about the future. The team is now only focused on the current match and that is paying dividends
I have already said that captain Misbah-ul-Haq has done a fine job and is able to bring out the best in the players.
