I voted for the [Egyptian] Bloc although I'm not 100% in favor of their ideology, but we need to balance the next parliament ... An absolute majority of Islamists would create a tyrant parliament like those during Mubarak's days, where National Democratic Party members dominated everything.
I know Mubarak well. He and his National Democratic Party got 78 per cent half a year before he was dragged to the prosecutors and deposed. But not one Egyptian believed this result. We could see the same picture in our country.
They’re only going to forge the elections ... The only people who will be elected to the government are members of [Mubarak's disbanded party, the National Democratic Party] or the Brotherhood, and I fear there will be clashes.
For the first time, we came to vote freely and I feel safe because we can vote without the presence of the defunct National Democratic Party (of Mubarak)
All women who won seats were National Democratic Party [NDP] candidates
