We know we're going to see Cueto several times. We know we're going to see Cincinnati several times.
We're getting back to familiarity with the pitchers and the guys we see on a more normal basis throughout the year
That was huge ... It was good to get some runs early today, something we haven't been able to do.
As many games as we played one run last year, I know that there's a different feel
When you break your bat and drive in a run to win the game, that is kind of sweet retribution for a lot of the balls you hit hard that are caught
This is baseball. This is the hardest sport in the world ... It's normal for people -- at some point during the season -- to have a tough stretch. But when you start off kind of slow, it's more magnified because of what the numbers look like. And everybody wants to look at numbers.

I want to sign. I want to be here in Pittsburgh
I can't really answer those questions ... But I can tell you that we have talked in the past, and I will say I want to be a Pittsburgh Pirate for a very, very long time. Where it goes from there ... We'll have to see.

He's as sure-handed as they come
We're probably the most plain, ordinary, boring middle infield in all of baseball, but we're perfectly fine with that ... Our goal is to make every play, make the easy, routine plays and make the high percentages of the tougher plays as well.
When you look at the team on paper and you look at the guys that we have, it's pretty obvious we're going to have some guys at the top of the lineup that are going to be fast and, historically, had good on-base percentage numbers
