Devils goalie Martin Brodeur is a U.S. citizen — don’t panic, Canada.
I'm just going to try and relax and play my game ... It'll be an experience (going up against Devils goalie Martin Brodeur), but it's something you'll always remember. It'll be even sweeter to put one by him. But I'm just trying to remember it's a game and it's played between the boards, so I have to ju...
We were able to watch the NBA game between the Celtics and Atlanta last Friday night, and through the KiXX, we watched the NHL game between the Flyers and Devils on Monday. It was a great experience to see two different sports on different nights.
When I decided to leave after the second year, it wasn't a matter of thinking I was going to the National Hockey League ... I wasn't sure I was ready for that, but the opportunity to be on the (1994) Olympic team. I went to that team and then signed a pro contract that summer after. I said, if I can pla...
Obviously I was with (Devils head coach) Jacques (Lemaire) here for quite a long time and had some success here. He’s a good coach ... So I’m not surprised to see where those guys are. They’re a good hockey club and Jacques is a great coach.
I remember one time with the Devils doing a Stanley Cup Final game, Jacques Lemaire was the coach and New Jersey is historically a very closed group, but I called to be able to talk to Jacques because the fans need to know what he thinks ... I met him down at the Meadowlands in the mid-to-late afternoon...

It seems like ever since I was a kid, I wanted to play in the NHL ... My idol is (New Jersey Devils goalie) Martin Brodeur. I know it’s hard. But this is a chance to play with and against very good players. The competition is very tough.
The New Jersey Devils are excited about the opportunity to partner with UNICEF and help better the lives of children worldwide
I was in Sweden at the time (of the NHL Draft) starting preseason games so I couldn’t get to the actual Draft (in Ottawa), but we organized a little party and a few other guys from the team joined me (including Devils first-round draft pick Nicklas Bergfors), so it was a lot of fun
Martin Brodeur’s bid to tie Terry Sawchuk’s career shutout record fell short, but Brodeur was able to hold off a late Rangers attack, including a key save on Sean Avery, to give the Devils a victory.
Those are penalties you can definitely do without. Obviously we have to have better focus. I don’t recall this many ever in my career in such a short time. It’s cost us some goals. It’s preventable. The Devils are not yet close to removing forward Patrik Elias from IR. Elias hasn’t begun practicing with...
Our kids are very motivated after missing the NCAAs ... I think one of the biggest improvements you'll see is that our blue line is going to be better with Nick Leddy and Seth Helgeson (draftees of the Minnesota Wild and New Jersey Devils, respectively).
I have decided not to continue with the New Jersey Devils for my 22nd NHL season
It’s funny you mention that transit use will drive parking demand (and price) down. The Prudential Center and NJ Devils in Newark heavily promoted the new arena’s proximity to...
