The Patriots were definitely not a guarantee, because they are not based in New York state, whereas the Jets and Buffalo Bills are
It was a very important game. There was a lot more at stake than a regular- season game that happened to be against the Jets: New York City, pride, Jets fans, Giants fans, two different cultures, two different mythologies. Emotionally it solidified a lot of feelings. I don't think anybody, when the sche...
I only know what I've read, but I think it would be very interesting if Peyton came here ... On the occasions when we played the Colts, a lot was made of it. So, now I’m a broadcaster ... It re-entered me into football. About five or six years later I ended up coaching in the Arena League, then with the Jets, the Falcons and ultimately Ohio State.
Willie, you can't offer a photo-op to a female staffer. She is not a meater-reader. You are not Brett Favre and she is not a Jets cheerleader. You are not Rep. Anthony Weiner. You are just a dude in a plain wrapper who has a habit of stepping in doggie doo.
I was just having fun and part of having fun ended up being a penalty and a touchdown for the Jets, Johnson said after the contest. It was a stupid decision by myself.
But Sanchez has to be a complementary option, where they have the fantastic running game and the defense. He has to be Matt Cassel or Kyle Orton , and to me that’s not good enough for him, especially with the draft pick the Jets used.
Buffalo played competitive football for the first time in a month. But it wasn’t enough after the Jets put together a clutch comeback in the fourth quarter. Buffalo is 2-6 in its past eight games. The Bills are all but out of the playoff race. It will be interesting to see if this team finishes the seas...

And the award for most tasteless touchdown celebration goes to: Buffalo Bills receiver Steve Johnson. I felt like it was a mistake for our team, that’s it ... Anything else, it doesn’t matter to me. I’m only worried about the Buffalo Bills and my teammates. I’m not really worried about what’s going on over there. (My penalty) led to a touchdown to the Jets and it hurt us. I put that on me.
It’s happening too often to our football team ... It’s uncharacteristic of Jets special teams, that’s for sure.
A 14-14 tie at the half had the Bills in the best position to get their first win in a month. After falling behind by a touchdown in the third quarter Buffalo scored 10 straight points to take a three-point lead with just over nine minutes remaining (24-21). But the Bills couldn’t hold on as a late touc...

I was surprised that the fans were so supportive. They were saying some nice things. I always got love for the people here, New York and the Jets fans so hats off to them and hats off to their team for getting a win.
