PG&E is a strong supporter of codes and standards as a vital tool in helping to achieve California's clean energy goals. The battery charger standards adopted today are a very cost-effective way to reduce energy consumption, reduce customer costs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions
I cannot stress enough to PG&E management that safety must come before everything else.
But the lack of a safety culture at PG&E must change
The non-communicating digital electric meter offered for the opt-out option must be capable, by no later than January 1, 2014, of collecting interval energy consumption data to allow PG&E to collect this data manually for billing purposes.
