Ever heard of Sean Canfield? If you are not a Pac-10 fan, the answer to that is probably, “No.” And that is a real shame, because Canfield, quarterback for Oregon State, is one of the better passers in college football, let alone the Pac-10. Full Article at Bleacher Report

View Photo »They won on the road versus a good Arizona team in a comeback win. I just feel Oregon has a little something extra than the other Pac-10 teams.
I don't worry about the Pac-10 or the Big 10 or the top 10 ... We just take them one game at a time.
Our mindset has been like an NFL playoff mentality with this game being the championship game ... It's kind of put up or shut up time. We talked about that last week. It's that way this week too. If we win, we stay in the hunt for the Pac-10 championship. If we don't we're out of it. We haven't left our...
I think that's why there's a lot of parity. They turn out not to be the very best players. A school like Boise State ends up taking a lot of kids that the Pac-10 missed on. A lot of schools in the East, it's come back to hurt them.
Ashley was recruited extensively throughout the past two years by many PAC 10, ACC and Big 12 programs ... She will be a great addition to our program and will be a great force on the mound in the ACC.
What is lost in the improvement in numbers is that three jobs were lost in the Pac-10, Big 12 and SEC ... Adding positions at Miami University (Ohio), New Mexico, New Mexico State and Eastern Michigan was important but these schools will likely never get a shot at a BCS championship.
The Pac-10 can play with anybody ... If you put (the Pac-10) up against the rest of the country … we could have six teams in the top 25. I really think there is that kind of ability within our league. I really have a strong sense of that.

It’s not about Rose Bowls or Pac-10 championships
If they need to win out to become Pac-10 champs, I just don’t have confidence they can do that right now.
The Pac-10, I think, is what's gone wrong ... The depth of our conference and the totality of playing the schedule are major issues for everybody. Injuries become an important factor to a team's success. It's weird — they played well. They play hard. They've caught people who got hot. Losing like that e...
You can look at the non-conference schedule for schools in the Big Ten and the SEC ... and you can realize they aren't asking very much of those teams on a weekly basis and that's not the case in the Pac-10.
If you break into the top 10 at the Big East meet you are in all probability a team that would contend for a podium position in almost every other conference in the country, with the exception of the Pac-10 and Big Ten ... That's saying something.
You look at our nil-nil draws and you could draw some conclusions that we're just a little young to break down sophisticated defenses at the Pac-10 level
The Pac-10 is as strong as I've seen it ever ... Someone's got to win, someone's got to lose. It's bound to hurt you in the polls.
Being consistently in the top four (of the Pac-10) and getting to the NCAA is probably more important ... But as a singular accomplishment, winning the league would be a great thing. With the attention swinging to the Pac-10 tournament and the NCAAs, it's really underplayed. It seems to me, having the 1...

It's a great discussion point ... Personally, I love the round robin. I love playing everybody. I've been a Pac-10 gym rat since my dad coached at Oregon State in the '60s. I've always loved playing all the other teams, and I think it's fair. At the same time I think that (it) hurts us. We beat each oth...
Regionally, we'd like to play the Pac-10 or the Big 12 and regionally move east from there ... We'd be interested in playing Big Ten teams, Big 12 teams and Pac-10, especially home-and-home. The more regional we can get it, the better it is for both sides.
