Lamar (16-9 overall) is sitting in a tie with UTSA for fourth place in the conference standings at 7-4. A win over SLU (9-14, 3-8) would not only complete a season-sweep of the Lions, but would all but assure Lamar one of the eight spots for the...

White just plays his game ... He's not trying to score when he doesn't have to. He only tries to score when he gets in that lane and no one is open.
We just hated to see it go down like that
It's a tale of two halves
If you start acting like you aren't supposed to, that's it ... Right now he's done pretty good.
At least I'm not paying them ... The NCAA should look into guys that are paying players and not worry about guys that are doing it the right way. . . . They need to check into guys that are outright cheating instead of nickel-dime stuff like that.

This was a good road trip, getting two wins over two quality opponents ... I felt like we stood around a lot in the first half and settled for jump shots, but we executed well in the second half. We were getting quality shots or getting to the free throw line in the second half.
We can compete on the road
You've still got to be respectful to your teammates and coaches
I thought it was an ugly win over a scrappy team ... I was worried about having some hangover after beating a big team (Charlotte) at home on Saturday, but I was very happy with the way we shot the ball. You've just got to grow up and take some responsibility ... I don't care what's going on in your life or anything. You've still got to be respectful to your teammates and coaches. If you don't have that, you have nothing. I just think from a lesson standpoint, where we're at, he's just not going to play...
I warned him the other day – this warden runs this asylum ... I have no problem losing games by sitting guys to prove a point.
In the real world, if you pull that stuff, they’re fired
The one thing you can never accuse my family of is political correctness
They don’t learn anything, and then what happens is it trickles down. It’s just a cancer on the team, and you can’t have that. Hopefully the kid can learn
Never let kids hold you hostage – never
You can sit down kids (and say), 'If you're un-coachable, you're not going to play here.'
I want to start a new phrase that coaches can (use)
We've got to see how he is when he comes back
Defensively you hold a bigger team from a bigger conference (Atlantic 10) to 19 points at the half, that's what we're all about is the defense and the effort ... I thought offensively we did a better job of shot selection. This is a great win for these kids and the program. Any time you play a bigger te...
You can't get stops and just come down and jack a 3 ... That's letting the other team off the hook. You've got to set things up and get a good pass. ... It's a bad habit that we're in. And it's something we've got to get out of.
