I think it's a good matchup with Boston College, a good chance to get a new setting for us

It was tough, watching Oregon and Oregon State, playing for the title
I didn't think it was any more so than Arizona felt after playing Arizona State (last week) ... I think that washed out.
It just feels so different ... It's so different from where we've been and what we've done at the end of the year. It was different watching Oregon-Oregon State the other night, those guys playing for the championship of this conference. ... It hasn't really kicked in in a number of ways.
Iowa was hot as a pistol when they played them and they lost to Washington on a fluke play at the end, they lost to Cal on a double-pass play and lost in double OT to Oregon ... And they beat Oregon State and Stanford. This is a team on the verge of winning the conference championship and it just didn't...

We need to pare everything down (against Arizona) ... We just need to make sure we give ourselves a chance to play our best with our game plan.
The Arizona State game we were right on track, we balanced everything just right
Coach Bowden has done everything you could do ... Nobody but Joe (Paterno) could ever come close to it. When we came into existence here, Florida State was everything in college football. They ... gave us the example of what you shoot for over the long term. He's been great for college football.
In our situation, we're in a close game with an archrival, trying to win it ... We're trying to end the game, and they were going to try to extend the game, so we did, too. That's all. I think UCLA coaches understand it as well; at least that's what they're saying.
We're just trying to make it right now ... We've had some ups and downs in the latter part of the Pac-10 season, with some games that really shocked us, not being able to stop people. In and around it, we've played really good defense.
The interception, I'm sure I'll talk to (wide receivers coach) John Morton and talk about Damian's route ... He didn't run it full speed. The ball went right past his head.
Jordan Cameron was the player of the week and they've got to play because of it ... That's the kind of moves that you make to help your playing time. The guy for sure is Jordan Cameron, we're going to play the football game and get him a lot more reps because he just deserves it. That's a great example ...

We’re working really hard at it ... We have to get back on track. We were a mess at Oregon. We came back and played real sharp at Arizona State. And then we were off totally against Stanford. The inconsistency is obviously the part that is most disconcerting.

He would be like playing the Bus [Jerome Bettis] in the old days at Pittsburgh where you just knew you had a big war daddy coming back there at you down after down after down
You guys have amnesia ... Every year it ain't over till it's over. It's a hard conference. It ain't over yet.
We couldn't keep up with the fast paced offense of Oregon, and we couldn't settle the ball ... It was a real mess with the running game, they out ran us and we couldn't make the tackles.
