View Photo »We used to cross over the Walt Whitman Bridge and the entire bus would go quiet. That’s what it was like to play the Philadelphia Flyers. I can’t say it was always fun playing them.
Did the [Minnesota] Wild turn down a [Josh] Harding for James van Riemsdyk trade when Riemsdyk was still attending the University of New Hampshire a couple of years ago and spinning his wheels before getting to the Philadelphia Flyers? That’s what I have heard.
This game will be a celebration of more than 45 years of Philadelphia Flyers hockey, as this alumni team represents nearly every major accomplishment in our history ... It is a dream come true for Flyers fans everywhere to see many of our greatest players assembled for this once-in-a-lifetime event.
