Prior to going live, we discovered a bug that requires a fix ... We're committed to delivering a quality experience with Photoshop Express and don't want to send out an update that isn't ready for prime time.
As you know, we were preparing updates to the Photoshop Express beta on 7 May that added significant new functionality to the product

They are coming in late in the game and have to have something good — they have to come in with a higher value proposition than the competition ... That's necessary when you're coming in late in the game, with Facebook at the low end [of graphics hosting] and [Yahoo's] Flickr in the middle. You have to come in with an enhanced value proposition. To me, this looks promising.
I was amazed that something like that could be done 'in the cloud,' so to speak, rather than on the local desktop ... So I think they did a pretty good job in terms of the user interface and functionality.
