I try to represent the undercurrent or themes or thoughts or preoccupations of the musicians in that particular album, so every album is not the same. Every album by Pink F...
Without Syd there would have been no Pink Floyd – his impact both musically and inspirationally cannot be overstated. Our association with Squeaky Gate and its objectives is really exciting. We all want to help in whatever way we can to raise awareness and support fund-raising.

It’s kind of like sitting around and listening for the thousandth time to the great old Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin of one’s youth, rather than take the time to discover the new guard of Radiohead and Queens of the Stone Age ... An important difference [is] that there are far fewer theater fans than roc...

It goes back to the time period way before the golden era of rock 'n' roll, which I consider to be 1967 to 1973 ... I'm a little jaded because I tend to compare everything to the greatest music of all time, so I'm listening to something new and I think, 'How does this stack up against Otis Redding or Pi...

I’ve met all the members of Pink Floyd apart from Roger Waters. I played at Dave Gilmour’s 50th birthday party. During the set, Rick Wright got up on stage. So I’ve had the good fortune to play Comfortably Numb with Rick Wright. It can’t get better than that.
Then I learned about James Brown. And Michael Jackson. Later on I found Pink Floyd. I’d never heard anything like that. That’s when I knew there was so many things I’d never heard before out there, and I got really curious and started digging into music.
I want to have some kind of musical career ... I want to go as far as I can go shoot for the stars. I doubt I'll be the next Pink Floyd but I can always try.
It's just what we had in mind when we started. We all love the first Pink Floyd record.
