It was a pleasant surprise to see how several car companies improved their fleets within the past year ... Companies such as Pontiac, Porsche, Mercury, and Lexus have all added several green cars to their fleet and improved their fleet mileage and emissions in general.

When the opportunity arose to purchase the Pontiac ... one underlying reason we chose to take over an ‘iconic’ location was our long history with the neighborhood and our desire to see Wicker Park remain interesting and creative and not filled with sports bars, Starbucks and Jimmy John’s.
So far we are not seeing a great deal of impact on Best Deals from the pending shut down of Pontiac and the surprise decision not to move forward with the deal to save Saturn ... Saturn, of course, has historically not offered rebates, but that may change as GM moves to shift cars off the lot.
