out by Christmas ... All I would want to say is the responsibilities of Government and the resilience of Government is of ultra, extreme importance and I will always have that in my mind in any decisions I make.
I have the greatest respect for devolution and for the Assembly. There will always be political differences [but] my door will always be open. I think that’s a mature approach and less testosterone- charged than the Peter Hain, Rhodri Morgan, Ieuan Wyn Jones approach to politics.
I’m just absolutely gobsmacked by the Electoral Commission’s approach.
