“My first dribble was actually toward the rim,” Neal said, “and then I remembered we were down three, so I had to get a 3-pointer.” Immediately after saying that postgame, a sharp cackle could be heard to Neal’s left. “You can’t tell them that,”...
Tony Parker opened the quarter seemingly weaving in and out of traffic as he pleased and Danny Green and Richard Jefferson had hot hands from the three-point line as the Spurs took a 15-point lead. But Randy Foye was not about to let that happen. He...

Cons: Suddenly, there's a logjam at the SG/SF spots. Oh, and we would be down to a three man frontcourt. How would Pop conceivably satiate Manu, Mayo, Gary Neal, Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green and Richard Jefferson? Where would all the minutes go? Who...
Tim Duncan is not the player he once was and Manu Ginobili has battled numerous injuries over the past couple of seasons. Bringing in a scorer like Chandler may just be the move that makes San Antonio the team to beat out west. If the Spurs could trade...

I always think he has it, even on the nights he doesn't have it ... I think it's amazing how he gets all of those rebounds, blocks, and is just good on defense. He's always doing a lot of things that probably never show up in the stat sheet.
It is, but we have to play better, myself included ... In a situation like this with a lot of crazy games a lot of scheduling conflicts as far as back to back to backs, home games become even more important. And road games become even tougher to get.
For us, I believe we’ll get it done ... We dug ourselves into a little bit of a hole with this 0-4 start. But fortunately, we have 29 left so hopefully we’ll get one of them.
That’s why the best teams will be able to sneak and get around .500 on the road and have a good 70 or 80 percent winning percentage at home ... Those will be the teams you see at the top few percent in this league.
If you combine that with a few injuries, not having the normal practice time because you have to be even more perfect on the road ... So you have to make less turnovers, shoot a better percentage and be more exact. We haven’t been that. I believe we aren’t far off but we still have a lot of work to do.
