I say it every day: He reminds me of Rick Nash ... He’s got dynamic speed like Rick and he shoots better than Rick did at this age. They’re both as physical as they have to be for skilled players. Both guys have the ability to bring the fans out of their seats.

Vinny, he's such a worker, he's such a charismatic guy and those two (Rick Nash and Carter) like playing with him
When you can get out of the first period with a two-goal lead it takes some of the pressure off, especially when you're at home ... We're just trying to simplify things out there and it's working.

Then we had a too many men penalty and they scored two goals in 20 seconds ... In the third we found our way again, but we couldn't finish and that has been the story all year, can't score. But, I don't think it's a step back at all. We made good progress against the Jets and had another good solid 30-4...

When you win, everyone looks at leadership and thinks they have great leadership ... When you lose, leadership always gets questioned. I understand that's what comes along with being a captain. This is definitely the toughest times I've faced being a captain.
