View Photo »It is a story about two best friends who haven't spoken for 40 years. It's a romantic film, but also very funny. We're going to have look-alike playing the young Rishi Kapoor and the Big B. I want to work with Amitji. Now it all depends on him.
The villain, Kancha Cheena too is more gritty and evil. The love story between Hrithik and Priyanka is more flamboyant than the love story in the original. And, Rishi Kapoor’s character of Rauf Lala, which was not there in the original, is also a highlight in this one.

I wanted someone spontaneous, funny and intelligent to play Rakesh Bedi's part. You see, with Rishi Kapoor and Anupam Kher in the cast and with Ali and Siddharth playing the two heroes, the third actor has to sparkle on screen. I saw that spark in Divyendu. Very bright actor.
