View Photo »We have to do the same things we did in Colorado ... You know, get guys right on top of the crease, obstructing Anderson's view and making it hard for him. That's the toughest thing for a goalie to work around, when you not only have to fight the screen but a little bit of body contact, too.
You don't replace a Roberto Luongo and you don't replace a Daniel Sedin.
It was a bad-angle shot ... I went one knee down against the post and the puck just hit me in the seam of my chest protector. The next day was a bit uncomfortable but I was able to play through it without any problems. (Tuesday) night, during the first period (against Detroit) it aggravated itself, not ...
I really believe — and I hope I'm not the only one in Vancouver who believes — that Roberto Luongo is going to be the goaltender that he has always been ... He's a great goaltender and a hard worker, and I just think he's going to get his game together. I hope I'm not the only one. C'mon.
It happened in the third period against Toronto
It's kind of hard to raise an eyebrow when you saw what Roberto Luongo signed ... It's all deserved.
It was a weird situation for me in what was happening in Florida ... I'm grateful that Dave brought me to Vancouver. But it's more than that. I think he's a great person.
No, no Roberto Luongo. Andrew Raycroft. It is a preseason game.
It wasn’t a text-book hockey game from our standpoint ... But we found a way to win, even though Toronto played really well. We knew they were going to be hungry.
We gotta go out and have a good practice and be ready for Monday ... He's (Anderson) a good goalie. I worked with him when I was in Florida. He will do very well here.
