View Photo »I saw how tricky it was to play against him, what a potentially good player he can become ... Now it is obviously grand-slam time (which is) much more physical. It is going to be interesting to see how he handles first the expectations, then the heat, the long matches.
I felt like I played great during these last few weeks and it gives me a lot of confidence for next year
This is a long story, but I find it sad that you have to play on a surface the players don't accept
I find it sad that a player like Rafa, at a tournament on his own country, has had to fight against a surface that does not want to play on
I couldn’t be more happy and I couldn’t be more exhausted because Jo sucked all the last energy out of me today
It feels very special indeed ... I know it's one of my greatest accomplishments. It was the strongest finish to a season I've ever had in my career. Right now I'm happy the season is over. It has been long and it has been gruelling, but I'm happy I'm still strong and healthy. I'm really excited for next...
It's one of my greatest accomplishments, an amazing finish again to the season. I've never finished on such a strong note
My body, even if it’s injured, it can still play really well, whereas maybe other players, if they are injured, it doesn’t work anymore

This definitely is an amazing finish again to the season
I know it's one of my greatest accomplishments
I felt I played great the past few weeks ... It was the strongest finish I've ever had in my career, which I'm very proud of.
Jo played better than me at Wimbledon
I could not be more happy. I could not be more exhausted
I couldn't be more happy. I couldn't be more exhausted
I'd like to thank the organisation, I don't think this tournament can be any better run, you guys make it very special for us so thank you very much
I couldn't be more happy my season ends this way. I'm exhausted, Jo sapped every last energy out of me today
I couldn't be more happy my season ends this way. I'm exhausted, Jo sapped every last energy out of me today
I think that was the difference to other matches this year, where I lost so closely
I still don't feel like I'm better than Pete Sampras, or Lendl for that matter
I feel when it happens maybe that often, I do have to question myself that maybe I did something wrong
I couldn't be more happy and I couldn't be more exhausted.
I just think it’s normal to improve as a player
It's obviously a special occasion for me
I'm shocked every time that I've reached so many finals or won against so many players or whatever record it is
